Alright so I have had perhaps one of the best weeks ever! And I mean EVER!!!! Anyway, this week I have made a whole new apartment of friends! Their names are Karla, Hailey, Nessa, and Kina! They are SUPER COOL! I met them on Tuesday night after our CES choir practice! :) Jaque and I stayed over and talked with them til about 12:15! :) It was fun! Anyway, Jaque and I hang out with them lots now and they are some super cool people! We will get to some stories about them later. Wednesday was not very eventful to what I can remember... umm.... yeah! Thursday however was a great day! I had a quiz in US Institutions... and I didn't do too bad on it but I'm not super happy with my score. I'll just have to study lots harder next time! Anyway, then Psychology was a blast as usual! All I can say is that I love that class! Anyway this is where the story with my new apartment of friends comes in! So one of my friends, Karla, is in my Psych class and I had to go and print off a ticket to go to the Utah Symphony. So she said I could go and use her printer at her apartment. So I went and that is where we decided we wanted cookies! So we got her whole apartment to come with us and went down to Wal-Mart! We picked up the stuff and went back to our apartment and made some of the pre-mixed cookies! It was great :) After that I went to the Utah Symphony and it was really good but incredibly long! I actually left before the last song was over because it had already almost been two hours and they had played only 3 songs. After that I went and got Karla and went to one of my friends Kelsie's dorm, lounge and watched... the Bourne Ultimatum!
Can I just say that Jason Bourne is one of my heroes? I mean this guy is the total bomb!!!! I know that he isn't real and all that jazz but stil! He's the bomb!
Anyway then Friday came! :) And with Friday came Game Day!!!!! In case you didn't hear it was USU vs. BYU! So Jaque and I went and sat by our friends and cheered and yelled and danced when the Pep Band would play! It was SOOOO GREAT!!! Some of my friends were Jaque, that new apartment I met, another apartmen (Erin, Mindy, Danielle, and Jen), Katie, Haley, and then Erin's friend Katelyn. We were pretty much the coolest people there!!! Anyway so it turned out that yes we Utah State, beat BYU in football! Yes, FOOTBALL!!! The sport that we are utterly hopeless in we beat BYU :) The score was 31-16 and I was SUPER HAPPY!!!!! Rushed onto the field and cheered with the team. The last time we beat BYU was 1993! We have lost to them ten times in that time span! Finally it is broken and I was super happy and proud of my Aggies!
Well after the game that night I went back home and was able to see one of my dearest friends Monique Freestone! For those of you who haven't met her, let's just say her love is my drug! :) Anyway I was able to see her and go and see my parents after that and I was super happy :) I was even able to watch an episode of Phineas and Ferb! For those of you nay sayers out there Phineas and Ferb is one of the greatest cartoons to come to humankind just sayin! Anyway then it was Saturday and for those of us who are LDS means it was, yes, GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!! :) It was SO AMAZING THIS SESSION!!!! Anyway... My favorite talks were by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Patrick Kearon, and President Thomas S. Monson!
So this is Patrick Kearon, he is a member of the Seventy and his talk was just fantastic! He was in the Priesthood Session as well and he talked on laying down our weapons of rebellion whatever they may be! It was just amazing and I was quite impressed with what he had to say!
So that was my week and can I just say I loved it! I am so happy with my life right now and I just love everyone and everything in it!
